Had the amazing experience getting to travel to Newfoundland to visit an old friend in Springdale and she took me all around the area stopping here at along the way. Found this neat magnetic block and I really wish I had bought a second one. I use it to stack magnetic coins at work for entertainment and it's really proven to be a great conversation starter, especially when I tell them how unique and far away it came from!
A little out of the way if you're driving along Hwy 1 but well worth the detour if you're into locally made crafts as opposed to mass-produced souvenirs. They have all sorts of pieces made with various materials. The staff are very knowledgeable about each item and can tell you a bit about the craftsman who made it.
