Came here on a whim after the wife complained of being hungry on the road back to Nova Scotia. The view here is worth the stop the excellent tasting food and great service are welcomed bonuses. The food is fresh which really surprised me considering their location which is quite remote. I had the liver and onions with mussels, the wife had seafood chowder with a club sandwich. Our friends had the grilled cheese and the cheese omlette. Everything was made fresh to order including my liver which I swore would be freezer burned and terrible tasting but was pleasantly surprised was fresh and juicy. Loved every bite of this meal sitting on their deck on the water. Very lovely place.
Waited a long time for our order. Asked the waitress if the fish was fresh and she said it was fresh, flash frozen. If that were true, it would have been white, not the yellow I had. It also was tough, not like fresh fish usually is...
Awesome fish and chips. Ate here twice fish lightly battered for deep fried... right temperature oil, no grease on fish.. Pan fried fish just right and still moist.
Good food. Ordered Turkey Mess and it was great just a lot of food. Had the pea soup also and it was tasty.
Enjoyed the food. Had a table outside on the deck and it was a good spot. Service was friendly and good.
